1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using the GlobalPrintAPI service ("Service"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Service Description
GlobalPrintAPI provides a print estimation engine available via web interface and REST API. The Service calculates pricing estimates for commercial print products based on configurable parameters including paper stock, finishing options, quantities, and turnaround times.
3. Account Types
- Developer Accounts: Provide API access for integration. Require email verification and mandatory two-factor authentication (TOTP or SMS). Subject to plan-based rate limits and monthly quotas.
- Customer Accounts: Provide access to the web-based estimation interface. Require email verification.
4. API Usage
API access is governed by your subscription plan (Free, Starter, Pro, or Enterprise). Each plan defines rate limits (requests per minute) and monthly call quotas. Exceeding these limits may result in temporary throttling (HTTP 429). API keys are confidential — you are responsible for securing them.
5. SMS Consent & Two-Factor Authentication
By providing your phone number and selecting SMS-based two-factor authentication during account setup, you expressly consent to receive automated transactional text messages from GlobalPrintAPI for the purpose of identity verification.
These messages include one-time security codes sent when you log in or configure your account. No marketing or promotional messages will be sent via SMS.
Standard message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by switching to authenticator app (TOTP) verification, or by replying STOP to any message.
6. Estimates Are Not Quotes
All pricing calculations provided by GlobalPrintAPI are estimates based on the parameters configured in the system. They do not constitute binding quotes or contractual pricing commitments. Actual production costs may vary.
7. Prohibited Use
You may not: (a) reverse-engineer the Service; (b) use the API to build a competing estimation service; (c) share API keys with unauthorized parties; (d) submit automated requests exceeding your plan limits in an attempt to disrupt the Service.
8. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is." GlobalPrintAPI shall not be liable for inaccurate estimates, service interruptions, or any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may close your account at any time by contacting us.
