When you create an account on GlobalPrintAPI, we collect your name, email address, company name, and phone number. If you opt into SMS-based two-factor authentication (2FA), we collect your mobile phone number for the sole purpose of sending security verification codes.
We also collect technical data such as IP addresses, browser type, and API usage logs to maintain service quality and security.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Account Security: Email verification and SMS/TOTP two-factor authentication codes.
- Service Delivery: Processing print estimates, managing API keys, and tracking usage.
- Account Notifications: Important account-related messages such as password changes, security alerts, and service updates.
- Platform Operations: Error monitoring, rate limiting enforcement, and system performance.
3. SMS Messaging
If you choose SMS-based two-factor authentication, you consent to receiving automated security codes via text message at the phone number you provide. These messages are strictly transactional — we do not send marketing or promotional messages via SMS.
Message frequency: SMS messages are sent only when you log in and need to verify your identity, or when you set up 2FA. Typical frequency is 1–5 messages per month depending on your login activity.

You can opt out of SMS 2FA at any time by switching to authenticator app (TOTP) verification in your account settings. Reply STOP to any message to cancel. Reply HELP for assistance.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only with:
- Twilio: Our SMS delivery provider, which processes your phone number to deliver 2FA codes.
- Service infrastructure providers: For hosting, database, and application delivery.
5. Data Retention
Account data is retained while your account is active. API usage logs are retained for 90 days. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at the email below.
6. Security
We protect your data using industry-standard measures including encrypted connections (TLS), hashed passwords (bcrypt), hashed API keys (SHA-256), and mandatory two-factor authentication for developer accounts.
